WELCOME!

Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley is a preschool-8th grade bilingual immersion school where students learn in French and English. Every day our students learn to speak, write, and think in two languages, becoming open-minded, adaptable learners who discover their best selves while respecting the differences of others.

CONFIDENT, JOYFUL, BILINGUAL

We believe that when students see the world without borders or barriers, they can confidently and capably seize any opportunity. Because when students are equipped with that boundless perspective, they belong anywhere in the world.

EXPERIENTIAL, IMMERSIVE, PARTICIPATORY

Lorsque les élèves apprennent à connaître un lieu en s'y immergeant, ils deviennent plus que de simples spectateurs ; ils sont des participants bilingues au monde, localement et globalement, et savent qu'ils ont leur place partout.

Nos divisions scolaires

ACCELERATED FRENCH PROGRAM

Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley’s Accelerated French Program (AFP) provides late entry points at G1, G2 and G6 for students who have no prior French language exposure. AFP students have the opportunity to acquire fluency in a second language, making them strong candidates for High School placement after 8th grade.
