Congratulations To EB's 2025 Alumni Spotlight Award Winner: Gabrielle Dreyfus

Ellie Dunnigan, Development and Community Engagement Manager
We are pleased to announce that Gabrielle Dreyfus—scientist, researcher, lecturer and distinguished alumna from EB's class of 1993—has been selected as the recipient of this year's EB Alumni Spotlight Award.
Gabrielle's career reflects a deep understanding of our interconnected world, as she collaborates with leading experts and international partners to slow global warming. Formerly the Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of International Climate and Clean Energy, Gabrielle is now the Chief Scientist for the Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development. Gabrielle's bilingual education continued beyond EB: she ultimately pursued her doctorate in Geosciences from Princeton University and Sorbonne Université. Her commitment to our global climate embodies EB's vision and serves as an inspiration to current students on their journey to "positively impact the local and international spaces in which we all belong." Congratulations, Gabrielle!
