February’s Black History Month celebrations were once again a big success, both inside and outside the classroom.

As winter moves to spring, our youngest students will roll up their sleeves in the garden—planting, tasting, and exploring how living things grow and thrive, inspiring their senses and honing their curiosity. From harvesting winter vegetables to learning about pollination, there’s plenty of hands-on discovery ahead!

The Jaguar basketball season has flown by, and what a great run it’s been! With 3 wins and 2 losses so far, our team has shown incredible spirit, teamwork, and determination all season long. Bravo Jaguars!

EB held its first-ever Les Petits Champions de la Lecture final, where fourth and fifth graders showcased their reading talents in French. It was a true celebration of expression, courage, and the love of literature!

G7 brought Vendredi ou la vie sauvage to life in February through “Mon île déserte,” a creative multimedia project led by French teacher Emmanuel Labadie. Students combined art, writing, and oral expression in French to imagine and present their own desert islands!

A climate scientist and policy expert dedicated to curbing global warming by addressing potent “super pollutants” like methane, Gabrielle truly embodies EB’s mission to prepare students who belong in the world—active participants ready to change it for the better.
