Student Ambassadors Make Their Case

Fabien Lombard, Middle School Head
EB's "budding ambassadors" from G5, G6 and G7 honed their critical thinking and language skills, delivering their arguments in French and English before a panel of judges for the AEFE's Ambassadeurs en Herbe competition.

About Ambassadeurs en Herbe
In 2012, the AEFE introduced Ambassadeurs en Herbe, an engaging public speaking tournament that unites French schools worldwide in friendly competition.

Ambassadeurs en Herbe not only hones language skills but also teaches the art of persuasion through oral expression and the importance of building trust through understanding and openness to intercultural experiences.

EB's 2024 Ambassadors
This year, under the expert guidance of Middle School French teacher, Julie Eloy-Defauw and Lower School French teacher, Fallon Eloy-Defauw, our students dove into the theme "1924-2024, the Olympic and Paralympic Games: a unifying, inclusive, and sustainable event."

We are bursting with pride for all our students who participated, and we have full confidence that those selected will embody the spirit of EB excellence on the global stage!

Watch as each of the EB finalists, Maya D. (G6), Eoin V. (G7), Antoine Z. (G5), Thomas D. (G5), Ann-Lise A. (G5)  delivered their speeches to a panel of judges in the Lower School Library.
