Alternative Chronicles

As educators worldwide grapple with the evolution and implications of Artificial Intelligence, EB is once again leading the way with its Chroniques Alternatives competition for Middle School students.
About Chroniques Alternatives
In a world where the power of imagery shapes opinions, a groundbreaking educational initiative has emerged!

Chroniques Alternatives is an international competition tailored for French institutions, developed here at EB, in partnership with François Raynouard High School in Var, France.

This competition is not just about history; it's about shaping the future. It challenges students to use AI tools to craft illustrations that reimagine historical narratives. Imagine scenarios like "What if Cleopatra had led Rome?" or "What if women had taken power?" The possibilities are as vast as our students' imaginations!

Chroniques Alternatives is not just a competition; it's a platform for honing critical thinking skills. By logically rewriting history, students delve into complex narratives, fostering a deeper understanding of the past and present.

The response has been overwhelming, with nearly 400 students from across the globe already signed up!

Supported by prestigious organizations like AEFE, Canva France, CLionautes, the Consulate General of France in San Francisco, and the Consulate General of the United States in France, this initiative has garnered widespread acclaim.

We are immensely proud of the hard work and creativity displayed by our students in collaboration with their dedicated teacher, Julie Eloy-Defauw. Stay tuned as we share their creations post-competition. Together, we are reshaping history, one imaginative leap at a time!
