Demande d'aide pour les frais de scolarité

EB is firmly committed to inclusivity. To help achieve it, we dedicate a generous amount (around 20%) of the school’s tuition and fees to need-based tuition assistance. Between 40% and 45% of EB students receive tuition assistance depending on the year.

When to Apply

Familles actuelles
Current EB families who wish to apply or reapply for Tuition Assistance for the 2026-27 school year should complete a new Parents' Financial Statement by January 31, 2026, and provide their supporting documents (please see below) as soon as they are available, but no later than April 16, 2026.  Please note that the Tuition Assistance Committee will not decide on any applications absent the supporting documents.

Nouvelles familles
While there is no set deadline for families applying to EB, we strongly encourage you to apply for tuition assistance by January 31, 2026 or at the same time as you apply for school if later than January 31. In this way, we can inform you of your award at the same time as the decision on your child's admission. Families should keep in mind that the later an application is submitted, the greater the risk that the tuition assistance budget may be exhausted.

By submitting your application and supporting documents in a timely fashion, you enable us to inform you of the Tuition Assistance Committee’s decision at the same time, or before, EB’s decision on admission. In turn, this will allow you to make an informed decision about enrollment.

  • New for 2026-2027: Application Processing with Clarity

Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley has begun working with Clarity to process Tuition Assistance applications. You can sign up for your account here.

If this is your first time applying for Tuition Assistance using Clarity, we recommend that you watch the recording of one the webinar that Clarity offered to families: Webinar Link , the Passcode is: 9%8=m6pH

Based on the financial information you provide, this service gives the school an estimated amount that your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps our school to make fair and objective decisions regarding tuition assistance.  Please note that Clarity is not awarding any Tuition Assistance.

Please note that for divorced or separated families, each parent must file a separate Parents’ Financial Statement with Clarity. Each parent must include the revenues and assets of their new family. As part of the application, you will be asked to enter your 2025 revenues.

If your earnings are wages, please apply once you have either your last 2025 paycheck (you would use the Year-To-Date numbers) or your W2 if it is available.

If you have earnings other than wages, you may enter your best estimate of these earnings for 2025 (we will make the corrections if any once we receive your tax forms).

Please note that the Tuition Assistance Committee will wait for the supporting documents to make an award decision.

As part of the process, you will be asked to authorize Clarity to retrieve your 2024 tax forms and W2(s).  In addition, we at EB request that you upload your 2025 supporting documents when they become available.
