Fall Camp

EB Fall Camp is just around the corner! Our camps offer exciting activities taught by specialist teachers and organizations, in addition to the fun filled activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, music, and sports lead by our fantastic Enrichment team. Below are the camps daily organized activities for this session, separated by age group. Please Note: Due to COVID restrictions we still cannot take the students on field trips.

EB is thrilled to partner with Kinderdance to offer their various programing for our Maternelle campers.

Kinderdance:  Kindertots® (for 2 year-olds), an age-appropriate program, designed to develop gross motor skills, movement creativity, physical development (flexibility, strength, balance, coordination), tumbling, body awareness and communication skills, while learning numbers, colors and shapes through nursery rhymes set to music.

Kinderdance® (for 3-5 years) is a developmental dance, motor skills, movement, and fitness program taught on 3 levels and is designed for boys and girls. Kinderdance® teaches the basics of Dance (Ballet, Modern, Tap), Floor Gymnastics and Yoga by utilizing upbeat original music, age-appropriate academics, and movements that stimulate the brain-body connection. Creative Movement in our imaginary worlds is another fun segment of this curriculum.

Kindermotion® (for K) is a planned, developmental movement and fitness program where children learn AND have fun! Kindermotion® educates through games, music, dance, sports and exercise. Children increase strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, overall fitness and nutritional knowledge, while increasing their problem-solving ability and creative thinking. Kindermotion® increases students' confidence and prepares their minds and bodies for future athletic and academic pursuits.

EB continues to make safety our highest priority. The Covid Safety Committee has assessed the current situation in regards to COVID cases in our county and has structured the following plan.
EB will follow all guidelines and recommendations for camps in the CIty of Berkeley, including masking, handwashing, and ventilation measures. The structure of camp will be slightly different than the school year as the needs and staffing of camp is always different. We will remain outside as much as possible, weather permitting. Activities will be held outside when possible. We will form four separate tracks, Preschool, Kindergarten, G1-2, and G3-5. These groupings will not mix indoors with any other groups during the camp but will mix for recess and aftercare outside. The cadence of testing during camp will align with the school’s testing plan for the month of February.
